Fentanyl Event at Mesa College
Kai Atesalp died because of his drug dealer – his cell phone. He paid $8 through an Instagram transaction. He thought he bought a Percocet, but was tricked and killed with fentanyl. Kai was a star wrestler, college bound, not a partier, and without addiction.
Scripps emergency room physician Roneet Lev said her shifts have become a “battlefield” of fentanyl victims, warning that “all illicit drugs run the risk of carrying a lethal dose of fentanyl,” especially if purchased online.
